Numerical simulation of O2/CO2 combustion in decomposition furnace

The cement industry has become the second largest source of CO2 and NOx emissions after power industry, it is imperative to reduce emissions. O2/CO2 combustion technology can achieve enrichment reduction. As a result, its application possibilities are bright. In this article, TTF-type decomposition furnace serves as research object for CFD simulation. addition, effects pulverized coal combined O2/N2 mixed on velocity field, temperature material component, concentration distribution in investigated concerning changes kinetic parameters CaCO3 under different working conditions. Compared with atmosphere, high-temperature zone more uniform atmosphere. range reduced area extremely high temperatures. at exit by 37%. output be recycled reused greenhouse effect effectively. partial pressure increases 111 K, doubles O2 concentration, but decreases raw meal rate from 95.9% 82.2%. process must improved adapt technology.
